[HTH] hirotukahedge #15267298
Description
Long ago, when the Northwindian Japanese roamed beside predator and prey, a quiet clan called the Hirotuku labored beneath the earth’s very crust. In caverns lit by molten rivers they forged not a weapon, nor a crown, but a living ember said to carry the first breath of the world. It pulsed like a heart of fire, warm and watchful. On the night of a blood red winter moon, the mountains split and the sea winds howled through the valleys. Fearing its power, the Hirotuku sealed the ember within black stone and swore their blood would guard it. From their line came the Hirotukahedge, the new ibes, wanderers marked by ash and quiet strength. Wherever they walk, the soil grows warm and beasts grow calm. And when the Northwind rises against the peaks, they listen, knowing the buried ember still waits beneath their feet.
