Description
[ INFORMATION 📌] In response to Cuba receiving a nuclear arsenal from their allies in the USSR, the USA created an initiative with the use of a Cuban-exiled invasion force. In 1962, under the direction of President Kennedy, an attack was launched - known as the Bay of The Pigs Invasion. This went down in history as a humiliating defeat of the USA and only strengthened Cuba's nationalism.
