𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐀𝐋 𝐅𝐈𝐄𝐋𝐃 𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐂𝐄 𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐁𝐋𝐈𝐒𝐇𝐄𝐃: August, 2022. 𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐘 The Natal Field Force was a multi-battalion field force established in Natal in December 1880 by Major-General Sir George Pomeroy Collxy in response to the besiegement of British gxrrisons positioned in Transvaal by Boer Commandos. The Commander-in-Chief of Natal, Sir George Pomeroy Collxy, assembled the Natal Field Force under his direct authority in terms of dealing with the Boer belligerents who'd been growing increasingly hostile to British Colonial Rule, further contributing towards the Field Force's participation in Boer engagements at Laing's Nek, Sxhuinshoogte and Majuba Hill.
