🌿 Devlet-î Aliyye-î Osmâniyye 🌿 ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Era : Kuruluş Dönemi (1299-1453) ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ When Orhan Bey died in 1362, while he was in a combat environment in Rumelia, by the decision of the Bursa ahis, he was declared ruler and summoned to Bursa. He immediately started making preparations to return to Rumelia. However, neighboring states and other enemies immediately took action to benefit from this change of ruler. The Byzantines took back Çorlu, Burgaz and Malkara. The Ahis of Ankara, who had recently joined the Ottomans, expelled the Ottoman castle guards from their city. The great prince Ibrahim rebelled. Byzantines, on the mother's side, VI. They provoked the little prince Halil, who was the grandson of John Kantakouzinos and who was engaged to the daughter of Emperor John V, and caused him not to accept the sultanate of his older brother.
