Description
The GOP was founded in 1854 by anti-slavery activists who opposed the Kansas–Nebraska Act. Its intellectual predecessor is considered to be the conservative Whig Party, with President Abraham Lincoln, and much more, all being Whigs before switching to the party, from which they were elected. The collapse of the Whigs, which had previously been one of the two major parties in the country, strengthened the party's electoral success. Upon its founding, the GOP supported classical liberalism and economic reform. At the beginning of every election for Senate, the Grand Old Party will nominate multiple members to represent the party. Every Gubernatorial, and Attorney General election, a primary election will be held to appoint a delegate to represent the party. The Grand Old Party was introduced to Ridgeway in July 8th, 2022. The party's main goals are: - Defending gun rights - Increase departmental budgets - Upholding the Constitution - Abolishing corruption in the government
