The Argyraspides, the veteran phalangites of the PezhеtаÍroiᅠ, make up the bulk of the Stratos while the HetaÍroÍ and Royal Peltast make up the King's cavalry and elite skirmishers. In times of war, the Basilikoi Stratos would represent the Basileus' exousia in his absence. A new king arises, the great Alexander the III of Macedonia.
