Made 8/7/2022 by Builder1555 [CURRENTLY DEAD] The Principality of Antioch was created in 1098 after the siege which took place in the same year. The crusader army that settled here was that of Bohemond of Taranto, who would be named as Bohemond I of Antioch. The Normans would rule Antioch for a while until other Frenchmen would have turn at ruling alongside other Normans. With some western Europeans (called Frankish) settling in the land as well as good relations with the local Syrians and the neighboring Cilician Armenia, the Principality would last until 1268. It is the of the 13th century (1200s).
