Duchy of Dragonia Ducatus de Dragonium “Firmo dim Dragonnerre” Anthem: Dragonia back, again in ambush The Duchy of Dragonia is a Duchy of the Archduchy of Germania with a rich history. The area in which the duchy is situated, Dragonia, traces its origins back many years to the time of Latin speaking Germany. The original Dragonian nation, the Dragonian Empire, or in Latin Imperium de Dragonium, originally saw action as a rebel group at the Battle of Zitikus, and a couple of years later officially formed as a nation upon the collapse of the Holy Roman Empire under the leadership of Emperor Maximilian I. Some years later, a civil war would break out in Dragonia, in which the Dragonian Empire fought against the newly formed Confederation of the Dragonian Republic in the east and some of the north. Then, the Confederation of the Dragonian Republic rejoined with the Dragonian Empire, a new leader was crowned, and the empire formed the Duchy of Dragonia.
