Shogunate Army Corps #154036737
Description
🗾 徳川幕府 Central Government Army ⮞ Aizu Regiment ⮞ Tsu Regiment ⮞ Etc. In 1812, the Military Governor of Japan formerly established the Shogunate Army Corps after military advisors from the French Empire exchanged military and economic knowledge in exchange for strict neutrality within Eastern Asia. This forbade Japan from establishing diplomatic ties with the British Empire, who sought to undermine French colonial possessions in Indochina. This led to sweeping reforms within the government, with Emperor Morohito "allowing" the formal establishment of a centralized military underneath the Shogunate's regime in 1813. This created a central army under the military government, with domains being forbidden from raising their own standing armies in favor of forming regiments underneath the direct supervision of the Edo Advisory Committee.
