PROTOCOL ORION | PENTAGRAM DARPA Government conspiracies. Hidden labs. Illegal experiments. Civilian test subjects. That is DARPA. Formed from a number of scientists recruited from the Obskura-corps, IJAMEA and RIDIA following Operation Paperclip, the Defense Anomalous Research Projects Agency was intended to be the "dark side" of America's research agencies. Most American scientists stayed in DARPA's public counterpart, which allowed the newcomers to stockpile authority and autonomy in secret. By 2015, PENTAGRAM operated nearly entirely without supervision, much to the glee of DARPA's less scrupulous personnel. They conduct whatever experiments they want on whoever they want, hoping to create the perfect class of hand-held superweapon. While the high brass are obsessed with fantasies of space lasers, DARPA knows that true dominance comes from the ground. 5/23/25 dynomite35
