S&C Plastics: Security Division #15454284
Description
In 1988, the S&C Plastics company made a massive investment into the creation of a private security division to protect its assets. While the increased profitability of the company made this action reasonable to employees, many remained suspicious about the sheer amount of hirees initially taken in by the division. Additionally, the fact that security division members were directly integrated into the company’s manufacturing plants raised numerous complaints about the lax hiring standards used by the company. It was not until 1992 that those complaints were finally heard, as most security staff were dismissed that year and replaced from more reputable sources such as ex-law enforcement.
