Description

Sarkar i Khalsa Maharaja Ranjit Sxngh built his rule on religious foundations. He referred to his government as Sarkar-i- Khalsa, which derived its legitimacy from the Khalsa. He attributed every success to the favour of God and he styled himself and the people collectively as the Khalsa or Commonwealth of Gobind. ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂਜੀਕਾਖ਼ਾਲਸਾਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂਜੀਕੀਫ਼ਤਿਹ ॥ 🙏🏻
