Description

------------------------------------------ Ukrainian State is the country formed in April 1918 because of P. Skoropadskii coup. Skoropadskii created Ukrainian army and stabilised the state through his conservative reforms and withstood both Polish and Soviet aggression, having to give up some lands for the Soviets in the Riga agreement of 1920 and to Poles in Krakow agreement of 1919, instead they recognized Ukraine and its sovereignty. In 1920s Ukraine stands as an influential Eastern European power, with constitutional monarchy guiding its future. -------------------------------------------
