𝙊𝙩𝙩𝙤𝙢𝙖𝙣 𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙧𝙢𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚 ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ 📖𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻📖 After the dissolution of the Janissaries in 1826, informal law-keeping bands were formed to maintain order in Anatolia and Balkan Territories. The Gendarmerie was officially formed in 1869 with aid from French and British officers, creating a modern and capable law enforcement organization. With reforms and much needed re-organization after The Great War, Gendarmes from all across the former empire provide security and enforce laws in regions of Anatolia still under the Sultan's grasp. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ 👮𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲🐎 The Gendarmerie is open to all willing Ottoman Citizens.
