Description
EST. April 2026, by SuperArmy3210 ✠ ======= THE HOLY SEE & THE PAPAL STATES ======= ✠ Set in the Napoleonic Era, the Papal States as a political entity is threatened by the ever-expanding influence of Napoleon and his reign over France. The (fictional) Pope Clement XV, head of the Catholic Church on earth, seeks to guarantee the Holy See's extraordinary independence and maintain the Papacy's administration over central Italy. With this, His Holiness, Clement XV, has enacted reforms and policies to expand the State's military force, increasing the size of the Pontifical Swiss Guard in Rome and seeking to further Papal military capabilities with more armies. All will be done, for the will of God!
