Description

It is the thirteenth century and Constantinople has been conquered by the Western Latins. In this tumultuous period, factions vie for power, prestige and for the mantle of the true Roman state. In the west, the Despotate of Epirus secures its hold and fights against Latin forces in Greece itself. In the north, the resurgent Bulgarians battle for control over Thrace. In the east, Trebizond and the Nicaeans both claim succession to the Empire, doing battle with both the Seljuq Turks and the Latins. Between it all, the newly-formed Latin Empire seeks to make a name for itself in a region that does not want it. Who will you fight for?
