𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐅𝐄𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐋 𝐁𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐔 𝐎𝐅 𝐀𝐁𝐍𝐎𝐑𝐌𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐒 The Federal Bureau of Abnormalities is a semi-autonomous government agency established in 1909 in response to a growing number of unexplained disturbances and occult-related incidents beyond the capacity of state and local authorities. Operating under the Department of Justice, with joint oversight from the Department of Energy on scientific and research matters, the FBA is tasked with the identification, investigation, containment, regulation, and enforcement actions against occult criminals, supernatural objects and phenomena that pose a threat to civil welfare and national security.
