GUARDS MOTOR MOUNTAIN TROOPS BATTALION • DIAF “Through Mountain and Storm.” The Guards Motor Mountain Troops, 8. Battalion is an elite mountain warfare formation of the Drakonis Imperial Armed Forces, trained to operate in rugged terrain, dense forests and remote frontier regions. Combining the mobility of motorized infantry with specialized mountain warfare training, the 8. Battalion is capable of rapid deployment, reconnaissance, defensive operations and combat in terrain where conventional formations face severe limitations. The 8.
