Description
"BLACKLIGHT" Squadron is an elite intelligence and demolitions unit of the OTA. The majority of BLACKLIGHT is made up of specialized GRID units who had been moved from the Combine Civil Authority to the Overwatch Transhuman Arm. Their skillsets have been adjusted to fit the task of BLACKLIGHT, which invests in skills relating to the demolition of large rebel hideouts or any compounds of interest. Along with their skillset, BLACKLIGHT Squadron operatives are equipped with some of the most advanced equipment the Combine has to offer. This ranges from extremely advanced pulse weaponry to heavy demolitions weapons and explosives. It is even rumored that if the mission requires it, BLACKLIGHT high officers could request the use of nuclear weapons, though this has never been the case.
