Comprised of North African and Moroccan volunteers, this regiment specializes in desert warfare, irregular skirmishing, and ambush tactics, making it a formidable force against both local resistance and foreign threats. Many of its soldiers were granted land, privileges, and protection under the Northwestern banner, ensuring their loyalty to the Empire. The 2nd Moroccan Militia serves as a crucial line of defense in the Northwestern colonial territories, guarding trade routes, fortresses, and Imperial interests across North Africa.
