𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐧 𝐝𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐬 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐝𝐞 𝐥𝐚 𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝘝𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘳 𝘰 𝘔𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘳! The Batallón de Morenos Libres de la Havana was formed in Havana at beginning of the 18th century. The battalion was made up of, as the name states, Morenos Libres de la Havana - Free Blacks of Havana. During the Seven Years' War, the regiment distinguished itself along with the battalion of Pardos at the Siege of Havana in 1762 against English troops. After the Seven Years' War the battalion participated in various campaigns such as in 1777, in New Orleans; in 1781, in Pensacola and in 1782, on Providencia Island, among others.
