𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐑𝐎𝐘𝐀𝐋 𝐆𝐔𝐀𝐑𝐃 ; 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐏𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐈𝐎𝐈 ▬ 👑 The Royal Guard, known as the Phrourioi, are the chosen protectors of the Macedonian king and his household. Selected for loyalty, strength, and valor, these warriors are entrusted with the safety of the royal court and the defense of the sacred halls of power. 🏛️ In times of peace, the Phrourioi stand sentinel at palaces, temples, and fortresses; in times of war, they march at the king’s side, forming an unbreakable shield about him. Their presence commands respect and instills fear in those who would dare challenge Macedon’s throne. 🤝 To join the Phrourioi is to swear a lifelong oath — not only to defend the crown, but to embody the honor and dignity of Macedonia itself.
