"289th Military Police Company" ■▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬■ "Assist. Protect. Defend." ■▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬■ Several ceremonial and tactical missions are carried out by 289th Military Police in supporting the 3rd Infantry Regiment. As part of its duties, the 289th conducts memorial services at Arlington National Cemetery, trains state and territory flag bearers, and provides them with equipment. These MP personnel remain to be effective in all MP missions, including training on military police operations in support of tactical and/or strategic combat missions, civil disturbance, maneuver and mobility support operations, and area security."
