Description
The New Republic Defense Force was the military backbone of the New Republic, which sought to restore and maintain freedom and democracy across the galaxy. Under the command of General Korrin, the Defense Force carried out operations to liberate planets and combat the remains of the Empire. Though suffering the effects of the New Republic's demilitarization and dwindling political support, it remained a formidable force of a new generation of soldiers and battle-hardened veterans that were determined to defend a fragile peace.
