𝙻𝙸𝚅𝚁𝙴𝙶𝙴𝙼𝙴𝙽𝚃𝙴𝚃 𝚃𝙸𝙻𝙻 𝙷Ä𝚂𝚃 The Life Regiment on Horse was the most elite cavalry regiment within the Swedish Realm. It was raised in 1667, but quickly became the most feared band of horsemen across northern Europe, completly and utterly destroying a far superiour Danish force at the battle of Lu nd 1675. The former king, Karl XI, personally thanked the regiment for "winning the Swedish battle". The regiment was mostly recruited in East Svealand and the Stockholm region. During the Great northern war, the regiment saw combat at Fraustadt, Lesnaya, Poltava and Stralsund
