"keep going!" I growled, trudging through the snow. I heard a kit whine to their mother. all I heard next was a snap. I looked back and saw the kit falling off the cliff. I snatched it before it was too far. I lost my grip. we both tumbled down. I pushed the kit into my fur. I heard yowling. I gasped for breath. the kit laid in my fur. looking petrified. I fell asleep. I and the kit trudged through the snow. we found a group of cats. we made a group and kept going, one of the she-cats had milk. I was thankful for their actions. The she-cat was willing to take the kit in. we walked for moons. until we found the end of the mountain. we all cheered. we settled into a neat territory. the she-cat had died after the kit with us became an apprentice. but there was another she expecting kits. Slowly FernClan grew into a clan. Yet, their prey is low. They can't manage without prey during Leaf-bare. They know they have to do something about it. their leader knows what to do. What did he do?
