Description

Special anti-terrorist unit (abbreviated: SAJ) is a special police unit that belongs to the most elite basic organizational units of the Police of the Republic of Srpska, that is, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Srpska. The basic purpose of the special anti-terrorist unit is to carry out the most complex tasks and direct interventions in the field of anti-terrorism, freeing hostages, establishing public order and peace in high-risk situations, and providing assistance in emergency situations. The special police unit of the MUP of the Republic of Srpska performs tasks on land, water and air.The special police brigade was created in 1992
