Founded on 9/7/87 by Benjamin Laidenwall, the Vident Research Institute is a for-profit research company creating cutting edge technology for humanities future. At least, thats what it was originally. After funding started pouring in from the United States government, Vident Research Institute became much more secretive, spawning many theories on what was going on behind the closed doors of their clandestine research facilities. I know what you're thinking, what does happen behind those doors? Research on demons, hell, and the gateway to it. This isn't just any scientific institute, they have uncovered the gate to hell itself.
