In 1829, in the island of Leyte, a warrior king named Rey Marexx rose to lead his people against centuries of Spanish oppression. He united tribes, datus, and exiled warriors under a single banner: the Gran Reino Unideo de Bisayas. Forged in fire, the Royal Guardia became a feared force—elite, disciplined, and ruthless. They struck Spanish forts, liberated towns, and sparked a revolution across the Visayas. In the battles of Kabog Ridge and Ciudad de Acero, Marexx crushed General Morales and shattered colonial rule in Leyte. The kingdom declared its freedom—not as rebels, but as a sovereign people. The warriors vowed: "Bilangis. Karangalan. Kamatayan." Ferocity. Honor. Death. Today, their legacy lives on through steel, flame, and unity.
