Description
Named for the enigmatic, ancient oily black stone used to craft the legendary Seastone Chair — also a theorized material component used in forging Valyrian Steel, or possibly Dragonglass — the Blackstone Order is just as enigmatic as its namesake. The Reapers of the Blackstone Order fight as though granted supernatural power by their God — or perhaps it is the Valyrian Steel they wield that gives them this proclaimed supernatural edge. Not uncommon among the Ironborn, these fierce warriors go into battle wearing full plate armor, without fear of drowning. To them, being taken in death by the sea is an honor akin to last rites. All members of this mysterious, supposedly ancient Order fight with their own equally ancient Valyrian Steel forged blade, all with unique appearance and properties that make them unstoppable; nothing the likes of Westeros has ever seen compares.
