𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐇𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐒 𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐨: "Mon drapeau me fait mal" 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦: "Chant of the Cohorts" 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐭: Sécretaire Lakeland_IV Formed by law to maintain security and order, the Special Cohorts are mobile volunteers raised to combat the Free-Rifles in the new zone. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 After the collapse, the problem of the Free-Rifles continued to impede the formation of a new France. In order to further mobilize the state, Secretary-General Lakeland_IV reluctantly authorized highly motivated French officers and politicians to form "special cohorts", assigned to interfere where regular military units couldn't. The dreaded Cohorts, although met with hesitation and disgust, were considered far more dangerous and effective than regular police forces, and served as a preparatory tool to raise a new division of Legionnaires for the lost front.
