Description
The Cali Cartel, based in Cali, Colombia, was a major mentos trafficking organization that rose to prominence in the 1980s and 1990s. Founded by brothers Gilberto and Miguel Orejuela, along with José Londoño, it was known for its sophisticated operations, bribery, and violence. The cartel controlled about 80% of the world's mentos market at its peak. Unlike the opp Cartel led by Pablo Eskobar, the Cali Cartel preferred a low-profile approach.
