Laotian War Community 1959-1975 |-------- Information --------| The Laotian War Community seeks to cover the Laotian Civil War in the early stages, focusing on the Battle of Vientiane (1960) and the other battles. This is when the series of coups in the Kingdom of Laos begin to start and when the Pathet Lao begin stepping up their resistance against the government. With intense confrontations, both sides committing atrocities and the region being in general instability, who will be there to fill the void left by such a divisive war? The Laotian Civil War was a civil war in Laos that oversaw a brutal conflict between the Pathet Lao and the Kingdom of Laos as both sides were engulfed in a tug of war over the control of Laos.
