Its primary mandate is the defense of Arabia’s territory and the safeguarding of national interests against external threats. It is organized around 13 major regional commands, the Egyptian Army Command, Syrian Army Command, Lebanese Army Command, Palestinian Army Command, Iraqi Army Command, Saudi Army Command, Kuwaiti Army Command, Bahraini Army Command, Qatari Army Command, Yemeni Army Command, Omani Army Command and Emirate Army Command. Its network extends throughout the entirety of Arabia, encompassing various regional and independent commands, military institutes, colleges, specialized schools, and diverse administrative units.
