Description
Khand was the name of a land which lay to the south-east of Mordor and to the east of Near Harad. The Khaganate of Khand, otherwise known as the Great Khanate of Khand, was a large empire stretching accross the lands of both upper and lower Khand, as well as parts of Harad, Rhûn and Nûrnen. Khand is a highly decentralised empire, with many Tribal Leaders and Kings exerting power over their own tribes, outside the authority of the Khaganate. Khand has now united however into one unison force.
