Description
The Columbia Line Welcome to COLUMBIA LINE! Following the outbreak of the Mexican-American War, primary efforts by most were frontiersman who aimed to make a profit through several trades including maritime trade, leading to two failures of businessman, William MacGaguire and Anders Johnson with new dreams, to exploit the new craze on mercantilism by buying two old sailboats, setting them off on trade missions to Europe, eventually gathering enough money by 1845 to officially open Columbia Line which would premier their new paddle steamers, progressively growing through passenger trade and the irish immigration to America, leading to new routs to Ireland and eventually opening fully owned ports in Boston and Liverpool.
