ᴛʜᴇ ᴠᴏɴɢ ᴇᴍᴘɪʀᴇ The Vong—also called the Chosen Race, and known to the Chiss as the Far Outsiders were a nomadic extra-galactic sentient species that nearly destroyed the New Republic, and were responsible for the deaths of nearly 300 trillion sentient beings during their invasion of the galaxy. The Empire broke off in 29 ABY with some of the remaining members taking shelter on Zonoma Sekot.
