Description
For millennia, the Yamato have ruled as the head over all the Japanese Realm, and with their sole power, they had established a permanent capital, moving it from Heijō-kyo to Heian-kyo, and in doing so, most of the nobles, and bureaucrats moved with Kanmu-Tennō, and they established a central government in the capital, which revolved around the Kyoto Imperial Court. The future Tennō would then establish the Daijō-kan, and at its head would be the Chancellor of the Realm, who would act as the supreme advisor to the sovereigns to come. However, after centuries of sole power, the Imperial Court's authority began to fade, and so did the Ritsuryō Officials. Then the Kamakura Shogunate would take hold; afterwards the Sengoku-Jidai would last for a century, and finally peace would be established in the Edo Era, but the Sovereign's power never once grew to the height it had once been at. Can you establish your influence over the Imperial Court? or will you fade in the coming era of intrigue?
