Description
The Empire of Astonia was founded in 1056 during the reign of Thagonius II, who oversaw a period of great prosperity and expansion for the empire. The empire was divided into two powerful duchies, the Duchy of Nafonia and the Duchy of Scolacium, both of which were controlled by the Emperor himself. The people of the Duchy of Nafonia were known for their love of new technology and innovation. They focused mainly on the eastern part of the empire, and their famed Blunderbuss dominated the battlefield, making them a formidable force to be reckoned with. Despite their reliance on technology, they remained loyal to the emperor and were subject to his control. On the other hand, the people of the Duchy of Scolacium held tightly to their traditions and the power of the sword. They were focused on the western part of the empire, and their famed Knights of Scylletium were always there to save the day when defeat seemed imminent. ERA: 18th century with a mix of medieval.
