Description

Oakmont Falls, established in 1638, is a city in the State of New York. When the pilgrims discovered the land now known as Oakmont Falls, they decide to incorporate a town designated as “Oneida Falls” under a contract with the tribe living there. The town's founder, Thomas Oakmont decided to change the name after one year to resemble the heritage of this town. Thomas received a statue at the towns center to honor his legacy. Oakmont Falls is known for its beautiful scenery. Incorporated: December 2nd, 1620 Mayor: David Smith
