Description
Nestled in the rugged northern region of the State of Bermont, Bermont County is a land steeped in history and natural beauty. The County was established in 1823 by a group of intrepid settlers led by Kenny A. Langston, a visionary pioneer seeking a new life in the untamed wilderness. Drawn by the promise of fertile land and abundant resources, Langston and his companions founded the settlement of Cepoy, which would later become the county seat.
