𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐑𝐄𝐕𝐎𝐋𝐔𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐑𝐘 𝐀𝐑𝐌𝐘 國民革命軍 The National Revolutionary Army, often abbreviated as NRA, was umbrella term for standing army of the central government of the Republic of China. By time of Japanese invasion in 1937, the army consisted approximately of 200,000 fully equipped and trained troops able to resist Japanese invaders effectively. In earliest phase of the war the army suffered heavy casualties and was partially forced into guerilla warfare. National Revolutionary Army was considered to be largest army in Asia. 1937-1940
