Description
The Konigliche Sachsische Armee (Royal Army of Saxony) is the armed forces of Saxony, one of the many kingdoms of the German nation located in southeastern Germany. 📖 History of Kingdom of Saxony 📖 It is one of the many nations and kingdoms that would take part in the Napoleonic War. From its beginning until 1813, Saxony would be on the side of the First French Empire, sending regiments of its army to support Napoleon I Boneparte in many of his campaigns. As his ally, the army of Saxony would follow the French army along, taking part in the War of the Fourth Coalition, War of the Fifth Coalition, the Russian Campaign of 1812, and part of the War of the Sixth Coalition. In 1813 after the battle of Leipzig however, Saxony would switch sides and support the anti-Napoleon coalition powers. 📌Armee Organization 🦅Leib-Grenadier-Garde (Guard Grenadiers) 🦅Infanterie-Regiment Prinz Clemens (Line Infantry)
