The Fall | Mi’kmaq #16293119
Description
As Fort Grim was noted as an Indigenous reserve, the Mi'kmaq was the ethnic group within the area, and their community was mostly populated here. They were most pointed out within the community for their keen ability to hunt, fish, and establish fair trading grounds when necessary. Their group sticks closely together since discrimination against the Indigenous people was common within Canada. Because the residential school program was still in effect before the nuclear fallout, many families had been separated from their children, with a constant state of abuse during this sad era of Canadian history. After the fallout had hit, they believed that their people would take priority for survival. The attacks that had been made against them by not only the government but also the common folk around the area firmly believed that they could only trust themselves and limit their communication and guidance with anyone outside their group to an all-time low.

Growth history is still building. We hold one measurement for this entry. A trend needs at least two, taken days apart — so this will fill in on its own rather than being estimated. We do not publish numbers we have not measured.
