Description
During the Revolutionary War, the 1st Pennsylvania Rifles were a regiment of soldiers who fought for the Continental Army. They were known for their exceptional marksmanship skills and were often used as sharpshooters. The regiment was formed in 1775 and was led by Colonel ###### ###### The 1st Pennsylvania Rifles played a significant role in several battles, including the Battle of Long Island and the Battle of Brandywine. They were also present at Valley Forge during the winter of 1777-1778. The regiment was disbanded in 1783 at the end of the war.
