◙▬▬▬ THE WILD HUNT▬▬▬▬▬◙ Originating from the 'Golden Land', The Wild Hunt is a group of spectral riders, more commonly known as the 'Red Riders', who are said to appear during times of war, conflict, and great upheaval. In folklore, they are believed to be harbingers of death and destruction. They are known as a proud and powerful race that is tied down to a centuries-old conflict with the humans of the Witcher world. Commonly known for their combat and magical prowess, they are a feared force to those who face them. The origins of the Wild Hunt stand in shrouded mystery, there are multiple theories pertaining to the whereabouts of its birth, and its purpose. Some believe that the Hunt is a force of nature, whilst others understand it as a punishment sent by the Gods. In the texts, those who witness the mythological force of the Red Riders become marked by the Aen Elle - inevitably perishing to the punishment of the Hunt. "Winter is Upon Us”
