Seat: Sunspear Head: Prince Maron Nymeros Martell Region: Dorne Bio: House Martell is the ruling house of Dorne, descended from the union of the Rhoynar warrior-queen Nymeria and the Dornish lord Mors Martell. From their seat at Sunspear, the Martells rule the harsh deserts and coasts of Dorne under the title *Prince of Dorne*, maintaining traditions influenced by Rhoynar culture, including equal inheritance between men and women. Proud and fiercely independent, House Martell has long resisted outside domination, most famously during Aegon's Conquest when Dorne refused to bend the knee. Their banner, a red sun pierced by a golden spear, reflects their words: **“Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken.”** 🌞
