"Welcome to the Oakens family; please don't be surprised." -------------------------------------------------------------------- Just on the brinks of Oklahoma, a small family in a small forest hustles in their lovely abode, getting chores done, and yes, siblings fighting. But there’s something more to this family, no, not that there are a lot of kids. Something…out of the ordinary. The youngest child doesn’t speak much, normal for a kid their age, of course. But the middle child. She isn’t much of a social kid. She talks to herself. Or should I say, her imaginary friends? Maybe it’s normal to some, but this has gone on for a while. She has even selected names for them. And they give her gifts. “This is odd, how?” You might say? Well. That’s for another day. Another time where oddness occurs. And another time when things aren’t always as they seem. So keep your eyes peeled for oddness. And keep your eyes on the mother. She is absolute trouble. Isn't the whole family trouble?
