Description
The National guard was formed by General Giotto at the beginning of the revolution. It's main purpose was to act as the main force of the revolutionists. It was mainly made up of veterans from previous wars and conflicts, invalids, civilians and young unexperienced soldiers. But it quickly grew and grew to the point that the Consul had to close it down, making it the esteemed regiment, always being near the Grand Consul, defending him at all cost. They are sometimes compared to the french old guard.
