Botanical House is a Tokyo-based record label started in 2014 and ran by Japanese band, "Lamp" Lamp (ランプ) is a Japanese band formed in 2000. There are three members: - Taiyo S. (染谷大陽) - guitar, synthesizer, vibraphone - Yusuke N. (永井祐介) – vocals, guitar, bass, keyboard - Kaori S. (榊原香保里) – vocals, flute, accordion Lamp's sound has been described as Japanese alternative pop and café music, but it is difficult to place them into any single genre due to their uniqueness. They often incorporate elements of bossa nova, jazz, soul, and funk into their music. Since the band's inception, Lamp has recruited many other artists and bands under their label. Most notable of these artists/bands include: - Minuano (ミヌアーノ) - a pop project led by Japanese musician Mr. Ogata (尾方伯郎), featuring vocalist Kaori S. of Lamp - T. Shinkawa (新川忠) - a Japanese indie pop artist - Mid-Air Thief (공중도둑) - a South Korean folk musician - Kyota Sugai (菅井協太) - a Japanese singer/songwriter est. 12/02/2022 by khiem
